Spyderflex Antenna

Article by  KenDude

iMR2 is currently offering a Group Buy in the Spyder Store on the new SpyderFlex antenna.  What is the SpyderFlex antenna? It is a Honda S2000 antenna that has been modified to work on the MR2 Spyder.  These antennas can be found in the Spyder Store at the following link: SpyderFlex
The antenna is easy to apply, simply unscrew your stock or other aftermarket antenna leaving behind the female threaded hole.  Next insert the Spyderflex antenna and hand tighten by screwing in with a clockwise motion.  Reception seems to be every bit as good as the stock Spyder antenna, and the Spyderflex is stiffer than the Radio Shack aftermarket antenna that it replaced shown in these pictures.  As with all articles, click on the images below to view a larger version.
